Bermuda Plantation

The plantation was settled in 1718 by Emanuel Prudhomme, who planted the first cotton in Louisiana. The house was built by Phanor Prudhomme in 1821, and has since been inhabited by eight generations of his descendants. Later renamed Oakland.
